Blogging on the Brain

I know I've been quiet here recently. It's because I've been working on some new blogs. I'm totally bitten by the writing bug. Everything I do, I think, "Hmmm, that might make a good blog post." I need to start carrying around a notebook to jot down all my ideas.

I'd love it if you visit (and subscribe!) my other blogs. Each one is a bit more specialized, as opposed this one, which is kind of a mish-mash. I'd love to hear your feedback. What you'd like to see on each blog. Suggestions of topics, etc.

To make life easier, here are the links:

  • Cup of Creativi-Tea: I'm sharing all things creative, whethere it's cooking, sewing, or kid crafts. Maybe some bellydancing (that's creative!). I'm also adding lots of tutorials.
  • I'm Not the Nanny: Parenting stories, with some musings about raising biracial kids in a racially conscious world
  • Laugh in Bed: Intimacy and relationships. Maybe some sex.

I'll still post here occassionally until I get the other ones established! Thanks for reading!

Can You Guess the Asian?

Last night I attended the awesome Pre BlogHer DC party, organized by the fabulous Devra. I ate, drank, and met some great bloggers! As I was telling hubby about it this morning, he says, "You've found a great community." I agree! And thanks to Safety 1st and Giant Foods for sponsoring the party.

So what's with the Guess the Asian? There's about 5 Asian-American women who blog for DC Metro Moms. Whenever we go to blogging events, people get us mixed up. So why not quiz our friends? We're missing one of our friends, but don't worry, we'll get her in the picture the next time!

I also brought a bag of Passion Parties goodies for a giveaway, which Devra promptly dubbed "The Bag of Kink." Of course everyone was able to to take home a mini-Bag of Kink too.

Now that I've heard such great things about BlogHer, I'm planning to attend next year. Sounds like a lot of fun and great networking!

I'll leave you with some pictures from the evening. (Click through to flickr for a description). I think I have found most of the bloggers from the party on Twitter. If not, you can find me on Twitter.

Oh, bonus points if you can name the Asians!
