In January, I made a resolution to try selling my art. I'm great at selling Passion products, but never tried to promote my art. I mainly do it for fun and stress relief. My goal was to rent a booth during our town's fall celebration. I called today to ask about booths. They're very affordable! I'm so proud that I took the step to call--I always think about doing it but finally got off my butt. My sister (who's coming back from 3 years in Japan this August!) is going to help me.
I've been thinking a lot about what I want to offer in my booth. What do people really want to buy? I have bottlecap art, my jewelry, purses, handbags, and t-shirts. I realized that my work is quite sporadic and there's no theme. Is that going to confuse people? And then what about a name for my art? Sheesh! So much to think about.
Blogging on the Brain
I know I've been quiet here recently. It's because I've been working on some new blogs. I'm totally bitten by the writing bug. Everything I do, I think, "Hmmm, that might make a good blog post." I need to start carrying around a notebook to jot down all my ideas.
I'd love it if you visit (and subscribe!) my other blogs. Each one is a bit more specialized, as opposed this one, which is kind of a mish-mash. I'd love to hear your feedback. What you'd like to see on each blog. Suggestions of topics, etc.

I'll still post here occassionally until I get the other ones established! Thanks for reading!

I'm thinking that you will have a fun table!!! It would be cool to poke around at the different pieces and would show the versitility of your creativity. I love the little penguin art! Do that in different forms - buttons, t's etc.
Cheers, Denise
