Blogging on the Brain

I know I've been quiet here recently. It's because I've been working on some new blogs. I'm totally bitten by the writing bug. Everything I do, I think, "Hmmm, that might make a good blog post." I need to start carrying around a notebook to jot down all my ideas.

I'd love it if you visit (and subscribe!) my other blogs. Each one is a bit more specialized, as opposed this one, which is kind of a mish-mash. I'd love to hear your feedback. What you'd like to see on each blog. Suggestions of topics, etc.

  • Cup of Creativi-Tea: I'm sharing all things creative, whethere it's cooking, sewing, or kid crafts. Maybe some bellydancing (that's creative!). I'm also adding lots of tutorials.

  • Laugh in Bed: Intimacy and relationships. Maybe some sex.

Creative Wheels Spinning

Okay, so I'm a bad blogger, but I have a good excuse. I've been creating! I did some more costume sewing this weekend for my friend D. who's designing the costumes for Tintypes at Rep Stage. It's a musical revue--the concept for this version is everyone has a base costume in neutral colors. The colors remind me of those old dagguereotypes where everyone has very serious expressions. As the actors go into their different numbers, they don more fun, colorful clothing. I wish I had some pictures to show you, but this was quick job--only a coupla days worth. My favorite item I got to work on were there lavender changeable dupioni bloomers with gold lace! It rocked!

Now I'm working on Sophia's Halloween costume. After coming back from Pittsburgh, I realized that Halloween is soon approaching! Sunday, I bought some uber-soft fur fleece, and I'm in the process of making the hat.

I also received my Pink & Brown swap goodies from Robyn the day before I left for Pittsburgh. Thanks Robyn for all of my goodies. The chocolate is long gone, but I promise to post pics soon.
